Your Role & influence as a Cloud Engineer
Responsibility:
In your role, you will utilize the Azure Cloud Foundation to develop solutions that automate and streamline critical business functions, including identity management, resource deployment, and process automation, ultimately boosting organizational efficiency.
Core activities:
- Design and Implementation of Cloud Solutions: Develop, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure solutions to meet the organization's technical and business requirements. This includes selecting appropriate cloud services, designing scalable and secure architecture, and integrating cloud services with existing on-premises technologies.
- Maintenance and Optimization: Monitor cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency. Regularly review and update cloud resources and services and adjust based on traffic, data storage needs, and security requirements.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support for cloud-based systems and infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud services, including performance anomalies, security breaches, and connectivity problems. Collaborate with other IT staff and customer service teams to ensure a seamless and reliable cloud environment.

We envision you as a curious and driven individual who thrives on adopting new technologies and solutions, is a strong communicator, adept at problem-solving, and possesses hands-on experience with cloud data platforms.
Additionally, it's essential that you have:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, CI/CD, and CloudOps practices.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Certified Solutions, AWS Certified Solutions)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, VPNs, Direct Connect, and VPC peering.
